About me
I got into the construction business in 2015. Shortly before that I had bought a small plot of land in the Moscow region, where I wanted to build a house. I did not have the money to build it, since science pays very little. The need to support my family (wife, kids) pushed me towards a completely non-obvious choice — to build the house myself. That is how one of the most amazing and interesting projects of my life began.
I built the entire house with my own hands, from start to finish. For me this is a matter of particular pride, because it shows that you can become an expert in anything. A couple of years later I got an education in construction and started running building projects in Moscow and the Moscow region.
On site I both did the work myself (pouring screed, designing the wiring, installing plumbing) and managed people. In 2019 my status changed — I became a site supervisor.
For me, construction is about putting chaos in order. I always strive to make building processes transparent, clear and run on a plan that benefits the client. I also love sharing what I have learned, and I do it quite often on our blog. If you are interested in an article on a particular topic — write to me by email, I will be happy to share everything I know.
What I focus on — and why
On the blog I write about what I do with my own hands every day. About how the apartment renovation market in Batumi actually works. Into every article I put the facts that will help you if you are doing a renovation. I lay out concrete cases in detail, give you, the readers, real numbers from cost estimates and solutions to problems that someone, somewhere, has already lost money on.
Electrical
Certified electrician. I design the wiring myself, assemble the electrical panel, install RCDs and stabilisers. I know the weak points of the wiring in Batumi new builds and exactly where it has to be redone.
Plumbing
Water supply and drainage layout, equipment selection and installation, waterproofing of wet zones. Every joint I either do myself or sign off in person — there is no room for compromise here.
Materials and technologies
A background in chemistry and physics from Moscow State University helps me understand materials not at the marketing level, but by composition and behaviour — what really works in the conditions of Adjara and for a specific task.
Turnkey apartment renovation
Full cycle from bare frame to handover — planning, technical supervision, quality control and transparent stages.
Project management
Cost estimates, contract, payment schedule, control over contractors and suppliers. I turn a construction site from a "black box" into a managed process with a clear outcome.
Climate and building engineering
Humidity, seismic loads, sea air — how to build protection into the project from the start. Waterproofing, ventilation, insulation, engineering networks.
